A wall clock or even more than one are a part of every home. You will find not a single home which does not have a wall clock. With time and modernism affecting every field, customized items are too much in demand. Same is the case with wall clocks. Most of us now prefer customized clocks and the old fashioned grandfather clocks or the simple round and square clocks are hardly found in shops also. Either they are faces of cartoon characters or maybe mythological ones, especially Chinese mythological symbols. You can even get pictures printed on the face of clocks and gift them to friends and loved ones.
Now, when we are hanging a clock, how many of us consider auspiciousness? I do not think the majority of people do that. We usually hand clocks wherever we feel it will look good or the grab eyes of guests if we have bought a customized or designed one. Also, we feel we should place the clock at a position from where we can easily check the time while working at home. There are however, positions according to vastu which are good and bad for even wall clocks. These are simple clocks which can play a huge role in your life.
The following are a few of such tips!
According to the study of vastu, a wall clock should never be hung on the southern wall of your flat or building. This attracts negative energies. Also, the wall clock should never be placed on top of any door. The normal and ideal directions to place your wall clock are on the east, west and north directions.
Another tip according to the study of vastu is that it is better if a wall clock is placed a little far from the bedroom or your bed. It is because we tend to spend continuous hours of the day in our bedrooms while we are sleeping at night. Now, it is better not to lace your head in the direction of the wall clock. It is always better to place the wall clock if your head is laid on the southern direction. It is also a general rule according to vaastu that we should never sleep with our head towards the north and complementing it we should not place a wall clock on the South. So the directions needed are opposite anyway.

One very important rule and tip for wall clocks and calendars according to the study of Vaastu is that they should always be kept inside the house and never outside even if they are meant for show. Now, another thing to be kept in mind is that you are to regularly check that all the clocks in the house are in working condition. If any of them are not working it has to be repaired immediately or just do not keep it on show like that. It is thus better you do not keep too many clocks in your house because it then needs a little more maintenance.
A very common thing on which we fail to pay attention is if a clock in the house is running behind time. This should immediately be checked. According to vastu studies, the clock should be kept post time if needed but never slow. This is responsible for your luck lagging behind and the delay in positive energy to reach the house.
The glass of the clock should never be broken and this has to be taken care of always.
According to the study of vaastu it is important that the dust accumulating on the glass face of a clock should be cleaned from time to time.
According to vastu, hanging pendulums with wall clocks are considered to be extremely auspicious and good. The sound of the pendulum at every hour is said to produce very positive vibes inside the house and thus attracts a lot of positive energy.
Thus, clocks are not just show pieces to be hung on the walls but a very important reason for your family’s and yours well- being, goodwill and prosperity. Hang them according to the tips given and see the difference very soon. It is always seen that we do not give attention to these small details but now that we know the importance, I am sure a lot of people would be careful.
