Company Name Numerology is very easy compared to the Name Numerology of individuals. But it is very different as well. Here we need to fix the name number looking at 2 aspects – Nature of Business and Date of birth of the people involved. Every number does not suit every business. For example, in the last module I had discussed that Name Number 4 and 8 are risky. Same goes here as well but Name Number 4 and 8 are good for certain kind of business or products. Like Name Number 8 can be used for night clubs. In fact there are night clubs doing very well with Name Number 8. Also, name number 8 suits companies dealing with alcohol and tobacco like Kingfisher is 35 and ITC is 8. These were just a few examples; now let’s learn how to make the best use of numerology while fixing company names.

There is no rule that a company into electricity should have Number 9 as the name number but the above has been prepared after research and is an industry practice so far. It is a matter of judgment and with more experience you will understand how to fix the name number.

For public limited companies where the directors or the beneficiaries of the companies keep on changing, it is advisable to just see the name number of the company based on the sector and not the lucky numbers of the directors as they keep on changing. For small business where there are 2 directors or partners, the name number should be set considering the lucky numbers of the directors and the industry as well.

For example Axis Bank Limited is a big bank and has a number of directors which will keep on changing. According to the above table, a bank should be given a Name Number 3, so it is advised to use a Name Number 3 for the bank rather than looking at the numbers of the directors. On the other hand, when it comes to promoter driven company like Reliance Industries, the date of birth of Mr Mukesh Ambani should be seen as he is the major beneficiary of the company and that company belongs to him in addition to other shareholders.

There are a lot of companies which are doing well despite of not having the name number according to the above table. Good numbers does not guarantee success; on the other hand a company not having good numbers can be popular as well. But when we see examples like Lehman Brothers and Enron Corporations, it makes us believe that numbers do work. Lehman Brothers is 53 and Enron Corporations is 71. As discussed earlier, Saturn does not give permanent success to everyone, also if you do illegal activities with this number you will not succeed. Enron Corporations was involved in illegal activities, no wonder it came to an end. Before these companies bankrupt, they were among the Number 1 companies of the world. Lehman Brothers was a multinational investment bank and went bankrupt. It is a quality of Saturn to take you to the top and then everything ends overnight. If I would have predicted even a day before that Lehman will fall no one would have believed it. Facebook and Twitter are 35 and 26, within a very short span of time it has been amongst the world’s best companies. Number 8 suits people with psychic number 5 and people having strong Saturn in their chart. This was discussed earlier as well. No wonder Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Facebook is a Number 5 with an exalted Saturn in his horoscope. I did not manage to get the horoscope details of the owners of Twitter.

The idea above is that Number 8 should be used carefully; personally I hesitate advising my clients to use Number 8 as the name number for any kind of company. Below are some tips for suggesting the company name number. Please take them as a guideline and not any mandatory rules.

• For small business or promoter driven companies psychic numbers needs to be looked at. Name Number of the company is suggested to be among one of the lucky numbers of the promoter or owner or partner.

• Number 4 and 8 should be carefully used. These two numbers do not suit everyone.

• For companies dealing in garments, luxury goods, and restaurant business or into entertainment industry, the first choice should be Name Number 6. If for some reason Name Number 6 cannot be used, Name Number 1 can be used.

• Name Number 6 is a universal number and can be used for any industry in case you are not able to fix another number. Also, Number 1 can be used.

• Numbers 1, 3, 5, 6 and 9 are considered to be good name numbers while fixing the company name. Number 9 can be used for real estate and any kind of business dealing with heavy industry, engineering or any business which needs a lot of energy.

• Number 2 and 7 should be used for business into liquid items like water, oil etc. Also, Number 2 is the best for pharmaceutical companies and Number 7 is the best for business of export/import.

• For private limited or public limited companies, both the brand and the full name need to be seen. For example, for Reliance Industries we need to see the name number of Reliance as well as Reliance Industries Ltd. Here if we can calculate the number of “Ltd” as 11 or “Limited” as 22 depending upon what will the client use in all the stationary. For Private Limited companies, Pvt. Ltd or Private Limited can be used. We need to give more importance to the brand name rather than the company name as a whole.
